Bluesy Beatles Songs? : r/beatles - Reddit
12 bar blues songs all follow the same chord patterns: I / I / I / I 7. IV 7 / IV 7 / I / I V 7 / IV 7 / I / I Some bluesy Beatles songs follow this pattern. For You Blue, Yer Blues, Why Don't We Do It In The Road. While Revolution 1 is a bluesy song, it doesn't follow that chord progression so it's isn't 12 bar blues.

Modes in Beatles songs. : r/musictheory - Reddit
The Beatles actually wrote surprisingly few songs in minor keys (aside from ones which contained minor key sections), and practically none - besides Eleanor Rigby - in pure minor modes (ie without major V chords) - almost certainly because they simply never heard songs like that when they were learning; and maybe also because they preferred the ...

Beatles songs sorted by key : r/beatles - Reddit
Also, by my hearing some songs do change key midway through, so some of them repeat for different keys. Another thing, some songs are not exactly on the precise frequency. For example, Strawberry Fields Forever is in between Bb and A; the tonic is on a frequency not found on a piano.

The Beatles: ROCK BAND, ALL SONGS (DLC songs included) WITH ... - Reddit
I just wanna shout out the Beatles Rock Band DLC project. It's a discord of people that make custom beatles songs that never made it into the game and have fully working animations and such. It only works on modded consoles though since it's 'custom' DLC packs but it's one of my favorite thing on the internet that I've been following

Best Beatles songs to dance to : r/beatles - Reddit
"Drive my Car" although "The Night Before" is also an awesome choice. I just realized that I'm 5 years late to the party. I came here because I'm in a band and I'm looking for a good dancable Beatles tune to play. We currently do "I saw her standing there" but we invariably play it too fast.

Which Beatles song has the best harmonies? : r/beatles - Reddit
I’d also like to shout out Please Please Me. I love the sound of the verses where one stays on one note and the other one is singing a descending melody. It sounds so good, very clever arrangement. Even on their earlier “simple” songs you can hear the strokes of complexity they loved to play with and that they would build on later.

Which Beatles songs could fill the dance-floor at a wedding?
I'll second ALL of this, but I'll also offer a revision of sorts: The cover of In My Life by Himesh Patel from the Yesterday soundtrack isn't necessarily a better version of the song, but the tempo is about 15bpm slower which makes it a much better version for a slow dance.

Best Beatles summer songs? : r/beatles - Reddit
With summer 2015 rapidly approaching, I wanted to make a playlist of the best Beatles songs to listen to during those glorious summer days. So far I have: With a Little Help From My Friends Here Comes The Sun Something Octopus's Garden Abbey Road Medley (Because to Her Majesty) Twist And Shout Ask Me Why Love Me Do

Beatles songs that utilize twelve-string guitar // are we ... - Reddit
You are absolutely right about Michelle and I have seen the photos from that session that you mentioned.. I don't know why Ian MacDonald made a ridiculous assertion that Paul mostly did all the instruments on the track - he did not - and his dodgy line-up should be discredited once and for all as a result of those session photographs.

Is there any profanity in any songs? : r/beatles - Reddit
12 votes, 28 comments. May seem like a weird post but I just noticed I don't think there's any swear words in any Beatles track.
